On the way homeward we decided to go through Yellowstone once again to see the Geyser Basins, hopefully without the rain we had last time. We didn't see a large amount of thermal activity, but there were the usual boiling mud pots, sputtering geysers, vents, & so on. Pretty nasty stuff for anything to be growing in or near.
