The building that protects the wall of exposed fossils was closed in 2006 and will reopen in 2012. We weren't allowed to even get close so we saw no fossils. Not wanting the visit to be a complete waste, we drove out to Josie's Cabin a little to the east of the visitor center. Along the way we saw these hills across from a camping and boating area.
