Frontish view. The roof is glued in place, but the walls are not. The walls virtually snap into place but they will be glued in later on.
This rearish view shows several of the selectable options: Transom windows are optional on both side walls (parts provided). The chimney can be located adjacent to the rear wall. If it is, the window opening on the rear wall should remain plugged. The opening on the right can be opened to accommodate a door (parts provided). Also note the rectangular portion at left on the rear wall can be removed and a lean-to added. The lean-to "plugs" into the opening and the horizontal slots below.
Also note that the side walls are interchangable. Two of the four freight doors can be modeled to open either right or left - the exceptions being those closest to the front & rear of the building.
The footprint for the structure as you see it above is 11" long x 8" wide.
Though the design & assembly differ quite a bit from the HO version, it will look almost identical. Estimated price: $210, with free shipping in the USA. Available probably late September or mid October.

Assembly of the test cut parts is mostly complete. Four minor fit problems were found and the CAD drawings have been corrected. This is a very simple looking model, and it is not difficult to put together. It is time consuming to apply all the shingles though. Including the leanto, it takes the equivalent of SEVEN 8.5" x 11" sheets of laser cut peel & stick shingles to cover everything.
If I have time I'll add another photo or three of this model later in the week.

This is a fair view of the overall length of the potato house built with the leanto. Including the stairs in front, it is about 14" long and about 8 3/8" wide across the eaves.
I misplaced the Grandt Line door that goes into the enlarged opening on the rear wall. I know it is around here somewhere... The rear steps are made from ties. Some will be in the kit, but yow will need to cut & glue to suit your own needs.
I'm contemplating including wire handles & NBWs for the freight doors. That would include a wire bending jig & pre-drilled holes in the doors.
